Dog Sweaters

Most of the clothing that pets wear is purely for amusement. It makes people laugh and smile to see a dog in a full on get up. But for all the silliness a dog sweater actually can be useful.

Thin-skinned breeds such as Greyhounds and small dogs like Miniature Pinschers can be easily affected by the cold. These dogs were not meant to endure frigid temperatures and icy winds. Putting on a dog sweater is a good way to help them stay warm.

A dog sweater can also help cut back on shedding, not only does it keep loose hair in place, but it helps the dog’s to retain the current coat as opposed to shedding the current one for a thicker, denser winter coat. Even hunting breeds like Labrador Retrievers can benefit from a snuggly sweater in the winter.
