Does a dog actually enjoy dressing up?

At first it may be uncomfortable, purely because they aren’t used to it. As long as the clothing fits properly the dog is not being harmed. Some people swear their dog loves it.

My dog won’t keep her clothes on, how can I change this?

Start small, start with a bandana or smaller accessory and work your way up to multiple items at a time. Allow the animal to wear it around the house for only a few minutes and gradually increase the time. Don’t forget to reward them every time they cooperate. Treating them at each step will get the dog excited to put the clothes on.

Are dog shoes or boots really necessary?

Breeds that are adapted to the cold can handle the snow. Most pets’ paws are sensitive to the hot pavements of summer time and shoes can avoid blisters and cracking. Frostbite can occur if the animal is not a cold weather breed (like a Siberian Husky for example) so boots are a good idea for extended jaunts in the snow.
